20th June 2019 | SAP S/4 Program gives back to the local community
Almost fifty team members from the SAP S/4 Program came together to give back to our Greenfield community. In a cross-functional team activity, eight teams competed to deliver an optimal nutritious and hearty meal for a family of four for one week, totaling less than one hundred dollars.
We partnered with the Hancock Food Pantry, and board member Chris Puls. Chris, also a Senior Technical Consultant working at Elanco, explained the importance of this lifeline for many members of the community. To put this into perspective, over seven hundred families visited the pantry in April, and last year alone the pantry supplied over one million pounds of food.
We are proud to announce the SAP S/4 Team donated eight hundred dollars worth of food and supplies to help support this amazing endeavor. It was a terrific effort for our program team and aligned us all with Elanco’s core values. This event brought the team together, allowing people from different workstreams, companies, and countries, to develop relationships outside of our normal work environment.
Later that evening everyone met at the Wooden Bear Brewery to further socialize and reflect on the positive impact they brought to the Greenfield community. Please click this link to see a selection of pictures taken throughout the event!
