We are pleased to announce the following moves towards our new future state Elanco IT organization:
Ben Nuthak - The Elanco IT Global Services Organization would like to welcome Ben Nuthak into the ERP Finance/Procurement Business Integrator role. In his new role, Ben will be working closely with the Elanco ERP team and with the global services advisor. Ben will also provide project support for Procurement / Finance and other areas as part of the Elanco separation from Lilly. Ben will report to Liza Stultz effective Oct 1st. Transition will occur in the month of Oct and November, with a goal of being fully transitioned by Dec 2018. Ben has been supporting Supply Chain SAP in Lilly Global Services IT. He was the Solution Delivery Lead for the Global Demand Management System, SAP Material Master, as well as ad-hoc tools for Master Data ETL. Ben is a full-stack software developer and a certified ITIL Practitioner with strategy, design, and support background in IT Service Management. He has a Computer Science degree from IU School of Informatics and Computing. Ben and his wife Erika (Elanco Customer Service) are Indiana locals and operate a small farm just south of Greenfield. Tom Burton has decided to take a role in Elanco as Manager, Enterprise Technology Services. In this role, Tom will be managing a team of software engineers and architects in the infrastructure space as Elanco looks to build its infrastructure capabilities. Tom joined Lilly as a Graduate after a highly successful student year and has worked in several IT functions across Lilly including Mercury and GS-IT before joining Cirrus in 2016. Tom’s start date is Oct 1st. Please wish Tom well in his new venture in Elanco IT.
Joanna Joss has decided to take a role in Elanco as Engagement Lead, Enterprise Technology Services. In this role, Jo will be responsible for leading OCM activities across the new infrastructure organization, internal team engagement and external customer engagement, team branding, communications and culture. Jo joined Lilly as a Graduate straight into Cirrus in 2017 after a great student year working as a Business Analyst, Engagement. Jo’s start date is Oct 1st. Please wish Jo well in her new challenge in Elanco IT.
Todd Wilkinson is joining the Elanco Information Security Team in the newly created role of Advisor – Information Security Architect. In this role he will be responsible for driving key company transformation initiatives’ related to protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, both company and personal information. Todd will report to Terri Zimmerman and work closely with both the Information Security and Enterprise Technology Services (Mike Henry’s team) to develop Elanco’s security posture as we transform Elanco to an independent company and our future environment.
Todd joined Eli Lilly nearly 20 years ago working in both Lilly and Elanco during that time. He has held various roles in both leadership and architecture during his first 9 years at Lilly focusing on building our early presence on the internet, systems infrastructure and security with a focus on encryption, identity and detection.
Since joining Elanco nearly 10 years ago, he has been the architect for Elanco Knowledge Solutions, creating digital products, tools & devices for our customers, taking Elanco Knowledge Solutions from the Cattle industry to growing it into all of our core markets and species. Most recently Todd has lead our efforts in developing our Internet of Things strategy for Animal Health, creating new and exciting investment and product opportunities for Elanco and the industry. Prior to joining Eli Lilly, Todd owned a small consulting company focusing on early Internet development and cybersecurity. Todd will be transitioning over the month of October; please join us in congratulating Todd on his promotion to Advisor, Information Security Architect.
Jared Chandler has accepted the role of Consultant – R&D IT reporting to Giovanna Carrozzi. This change will be effective October 1 with a transition planned during Q4/2018. In this Consultant position, Jared will have responsibility for leading the strategic approach, technical delivery, and support of IT solutions enabling the Elanco Research organization. Jared will be focusing on establishing and supporting capabilities and systems for research functions historically provided in partnership with Lilly Research IT, including essential functions for molecule registration and sample management, as well as scientific platforms and tools enabling the research process.
Jared brings 18 years of Lilly IT experience into his new role. He has held a variety of technical and leadership roles in support of the Rational Tools and Unified Change Management initiatives, electronic lab notebook development and implementation, and biological and chemical registration and inventory workflow analysis. Jared completed the advanced graduate computer security certificate from Stanford University, finished an MBA from California State University, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Systems Analysis and Design from University of the State of New York at Albany. He grew up in Northwest Indiana and enjoys woodworking and bowl carving, vacations out West, doing genealogy research, serving in his church, and is a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.
